AuraFine is a small studio working out of London, designing jewellery that begins with a sound that matters to you — a song, a voice note, a heartbeat from a hospital scan — and ends as the actual silhouette of a ring you can wear.
Why we exist
Most jewellery comes from a catalogue.
A century of design has settled into a few well-loved shapes — the eternity, the signet, the solitaire — copied a thousand times and offered to a thousand strangers. There is nothing wrong with them. They simply are not yours.
AuraFine takes a different premise. The piece you wear should belong only to you, because it could only have come from you. The recording is not engraved on the band, nor stamped into it. It is the band. Wave by wave, breath by breath, silence by silence — the sound is the geometry, and the geometry is the object.
How a piece comes to be
A short account, told in three.
The work is slow on purpose. From the moment we hear from you to the moment a small green box arrives at your door, four to six weeks pass — most of it spent in the hands of people, not machines.

You give us a sound.
Anything between five and thirty seconds. A wedding song. A grandparent reading a postcard. The first cry. A heartbeat. We accept any common audio file and we never use your recording for anything other than your ring.

We trace its shape.
In the studio, we read the recording the way a cartographer reads a coastline — every rise, every hush, every breath becomes part of the form. No two recordings have ever produced the same silhouette, nor will they.

We cast it in precious metal, by hand.
Sterling silver pieces travel to a small atelier in France, where expert artisans cast them by lost-wax and finish each piece by hand. Solid gold and platinum are wax-cast at our partner workshop, then polished and finished to the same standard. From there each piece is sent to you in a small green box, by Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Where the work happens
Designed in London. Cast by hand.
We design every piece in our studio in London. Sterling silver pieces are cast and finished in a small atelier in France, by jewellers who have spent a working life with the lost-wax tradition. Solid gold and platinum pieces are cast by our wax-cast partner workshop and finished to the same standard. The hand-finishing shows in the quietest places, on the inside of the band, where your finger meets the metal.Each piece arrives in a small green box, sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery and fully insured.
On materials
Solid metal, the whole piece.
Every AuraFine piece is cast in solid precious metal — not plated, not filled, the whole piece. The same metal throughout: outside, inside, all the way through.
You can choose sterling silver, solid 14k or 18k gold (yellow, white, or rose), or platinum. Each is wax-cast to the silhouette your inspiration produced and finished by hand.
